An auto-generated trade licence, meaning anything other than a risky or publicly sensitive business, issues as soon as payment goes through. It arrives by post or courier, and you can also log into your own account and print it.

One caveat
The office does not print the amount on its own service page. It says only "the fee prescribed under section 10(4) of the City Corporation Model Tax Schedule, 2016". So a citizen who wants to know the price has to go and find a schedule, and a service whose price is not written down in public is the easiest kind to be overcharged for.
